Gratitude towards others via /r/gratitude

Practicing gratitude today. I’m thankful for the opportunity to help give my brother-in-law Ben a voice. I’m also grateful for those who initially see our situation as sad—because it gives us the chance to change hearts and show that our story is really one of resilience, love, and compassion.

To those who believe our family's content isn't authentic or think it comes from a place of greed, I’m grateful too. It’s a reminder that we have the chance to prove that not everyone has bad intentions or seeks to exploit others.

I’m not perfect, but I know I care deeply—and I truly want to help others see the good that still exists in the world.

I won’t change the way we live or share our lives to satisfy those who doubt our intentions. Ben’s story is bigger than my ego—he deserves for the world to know who he is. He wants to tell his story, just like we do. And every bit of this is worth it.
