Grateful for stepping out in the light again. via /r/gratitude

I've had a really rough couple of months and this past week I couldn't move, I couldn't function, I couldn't be in the world. I just laid on the couch and hardly moved. But today I decided to ignore the couch and go outside to do some gardening. The voices of other people, the ground, the sun, the air.. I am so grateful for them and for the strength somewhere deep inside me to yet again fight the dark and embrace the light of day.
