Greatful For Paramedics via /r/gratitude

I have been binge watching a show called Ambulance out of England in which paramedics are followed as they respond to calls, and I am so greatful for the men and women all over the world who chose this career.

These men and women on the show go above and beyond to help those in desperate need of care. Twice now they have responded to 100 year old people living alone, and after assessment, they have made them a cup of tea, changed bloody sheets and pajamas and call them dahhing and luv and sweeethaht.

They are lovely people, all of them, doing God's work. I appreciated the paramedics who came when my husband died of a heart attack on our kitchen floor and they sent an ambulance for me as I was in shock (but I didn't go with them).

Truly, they are angels, with you on what might be the worst day of your life.
