Today, I am grateful for the internet! via /r/gratitude

Some time ago, I saw a video of a mother duck whose babies had fallen into a storm drain, and some folks were able to help her get her ducklings back.

Today, on my way home from work, my wife and I saw a mother duck hanging around a median of a road. I then noticed she was hanging around a storm drain.

Because I had seen that video, it occurred to me that her babies may have fallen in, as I also knew that right now is when they are hatching!

My wife, a couple helpful others, and I were able to return the babies to their mother all because I saw a video a few years ago!
