Grateful for love, family and friendship via /r/gratitude

Got back from a destination wedding to Cyprus yesterday and I’m just filled with so much joy and gratitude. It was such a wholesome trip, I needed that fr. It was so heartwarming to see a couple get married, with their family and friends coming together and they bonded so well during the weekend. Everyone was such good vibes, I got invited because I know the bride’s younger brother so most people were way older but it didn’t feel like that. I’m so grateful I can afford to go for this trip because it somewhat changed my perception of love. Love is just the purest feeling in the world and that’s what I felt throughout the weekend. It was so good to be with my boys, take a swim, enjoy the great weather, go clubbing (even though the clubs were sh*T haha it was a nice experience), and most importantly attend the wedding ceremony. Not gonna lie, I teared up a bit. I think it’s mainly because I pictured my ex walking down the aisle haha. But yh it’s made me more open to consider dating and be in relationships, however i still feel like I’m a bit young for that (22 btw).
Anyways all in all I’m grateful for my family because it was through my parents I knew the brides brother. I wish the couple a happy marriage, and I wish anyone that is getting married soon or in a serious relationship nothing but love, joy, laughter, peace, quick resolutions, good vibes, and happiness.
