Grateful for THR via /r/gratitude

In 24 hours I will be on my way to the hospital for a total hip replacement. I'm really scared, but I'm excited to get back to being active. I'm grateful at this very moment for my giant cup of coffee (Irish cream flavor, 24 oz, made by pour over) because I won't get any tomorrow.

I'm grateful I have all the physical items I will need for recovery (walker, tall toilet seat, shower chair, various implements like a sock tool, cool therapy machine)

More than all those items, though, I'm grateful for people who will help me.

Grateful for God's continuing care and presence in my life.
