I’m so grateful for my husband.

A week ago today was our 2nd wedding anniversary. Sadly my surgery was scheduled that day for 6AM. It was to remove 3 ovarian cysts, one cyst was 20cm. This had been my 3rd cyst surgery since September of 2022. Each time before they were all done laparoscopic. However, those cysts never got bigger than 9cm. So I didn't think much difficult of this surgery. All my recoveries were pretty easy with laparoscopic. I just needed him the day of surgery and I could take care of myself after that.

Well….

Sadly the surgery started as a 50 minute laparoscopic but turned into a 4 hour c section… the cyst had grown into my bowels and my lovely doctor took his sweet time removing it. Didn't want to mess anything up. So thankful for him as well. My husband stayed the night with me in the hospital. The night we came home, I couldn't get into our tall bed so I had to sleep in the recliner until I felt I was healed enough. He slept with me out in the living room. So sweet. He cooked me frozen lasagna. He helped me take showers and washed my legs cause I couldn't bend down. I apologized for my hairy body 500 times and he kept say "babe, idgaf. Its normal" He has helped watering my garden. He's been amazing and I love him dearly. I'm so blessed to have him as my husband. I don't know where I'd be right now without him. Hopefully next year on our 3rd wedding anniversary we can celebrate ❤️ our 2nd wasn't the best but it does show the realness of marriages. Through sickness and through health. ❤️
