Grateful to be sick via /r/gratitude

My body hurts, my throat is itching and my nose is running.
But boy – how grateful I am to be sick.
How lucky I am to have medicine to help me get through the day
How lucky I am to have a job I want to go to even when sick
How lucky I am to still have the health to work out
How lucky I am that my immune system will fight this like every other sickness before it
How lucky I am to have a healthy body
How lucky I am to have the privilege to have milk with honey every morning
How lucky I am to wake up in bed -only annoyed by the feeling of my throat
How lucky I am to be able to take paid sick leave if I need to
How lucky I am to have qualified doctors to help me if I get worse
