Honestly, tech has made life better. I am grateful for it. via /r/gratitude

Compared to the early 1900s, when we didn’t even have trains, it went flying from there. Pretty much everything we use nowadays was an absolutely great and new technology, and still is, we just got used to it.

Digital:

• So many digital apps – with the right intention, they help you so much.
• Plattforms: Reddit is amazing – asking questions and getting instant access to exactly the people you’re looking for right now.
• Amazon – although a monopoly and people probably need to deal with in the long term, right now it’s amazing.
• Discord – your own little community of people aligned with your interests
• All the websites and the internet connecting people to each other
• etc.

Physical:

• Your phone – so many tools and connections to the world in your pocket, always available if you need them.
• A bicycle / car – being able to go pretty much anywhere quickly and easily.
• Even a glass for water – it’s perfect, light, useful 🙂
• That we live in perfectly warm and safe houses (not a standard for a long time, right?).
• That we can save money and know we can survive for a long time if we decide to cut expenses and live frugally.
• etc.

All of this is such a big luxury, truly.
