Grateful again! Outside grilling for the family in the rain. Simple pleasures. I’m almost silly with happiness for this. via /r/gratitude

There are plenty of things I could focus on and use them to excuse myself to be miserable. However, I’m not going to do that. I’m outside grilling. After a morning of outside work a rainstorm has blown in. I’m singing in the rain. The sad things I face some days just melt away as I listen to the rain and pet my wet dogs. I’m am grateful for this and grateful that I can feel gratitude at times when I could choose sorrow or pain instead.
