Grateful to notice the trees and shrubs grow dramatically in neighborhoods over time via /r/gratitude

I visited my cousin on Friday for the first time in 20 years and needed GPS because the foliage skyrocketed. Everything looked different and better.

I've seen this in other neighborhoods such as new developments. Many start out as somewhat of a desert. Then over time Mother Nature wedges her way back in!
