Grateful for living in a partial concrete jungle in regard to mosquitoes via /r/gratitude

With my car in the shop for quite a while, I decided to draw down all of my food supplies to about 30 strands of spaghetti. With that being accomplished this afternoon I decided to walk an 8-mile round trip to the local grocery store with a knapsack.

Outbound Route: City streets with a little bit of railroad tracks and a park

Inbound Route: An abandoned road, railroad tracks, and city streets

The abandoned road doubled as a Red Cross blood donation center with mosquitoes being the donees! Needless to say, when I got back onto city streets with no skeets, I was grateful as can be!
