Grateful for random acts of kindness via /r/gratitude

I was feeling pretty down when I went to Aldi after the gym to grab 3 items: blackberries, raspberries, and bananas.

I head to the only check out line there (there’s no self checkout) and was about to go behind this woman loading her things on the belt when I look behind me and saw this dude with a completely full cart already waiting in line and just made a gap to let people through so I didn’t see him at first.

I looked at him and was about to go behind him when he said I can go in front since I only had 3 items. I said thank you and went behind the woman.

But the kindness didn’t stop there. I go behind the woman and she also sees that I only have 3 items and she let me go in front of her as well!! I said thank you and was literally about to cry because I’ve never had 2 people let me go in front of them at the grocery store before.

You’d think the acts of kindness would’ve stopped there but no, just you wait.

So I check out and head out the door when this random man compliments me on my physique (I was wearing a cut off sleeveless shirt) and I was like thank you!!

3 random acts of kindness right after another is insane. I’m like what did I do to deserve this?? That really turned my mood around.

To those 3 kind, selfless strangers, I thank you with my whole heart. I am definitely passing on the kindness to other people. Cheers!
