Grateful For simple things via /r/gratitude

So backstory I drive trucks OTR and I picked up a load in GA to be delivered today at 8 in Virginia and my cousin house is in route to Virginia. I got a chance to stay the night there and chill with family which I rarely get to do. So I got there first thing first took a shower with no shower shoes man I’m always grateful to take a shower with no shower shoes on if you drive trucks OTR you understand. Gotta to see my baby cousin and play with him and hold him baby’s are a joy to be around because they are so innocent and to see him just smile and stare at me in person rather than on the phone bought joy to my heart. We went out and got food tried one of their favorite restaurants. Man I may have committed a sin from all the eating I did with them. I tried some really good egg rolls and some fried mushrooms and boom boom shrimp tacos which are one of my favorite. Then to cap it off some ice cream from a new spot in town. Honestly I’m still full from yesterday lol. I got a chance to wash and dry my clothes. Took a ride on the golf cart, It was just a nice time to just hang out with my cousins. I’m just grateful for the love we share and the time I get to spend with them and just the small things conversation, good food, washing clothes without having to walk a mile to take the clothes to the washer lol (a little lazy), shower with no shower shoes, and a comfortable bed to sleep in. Now back on road I will go this morning
