I am grateful to be seen by a stranger today. via /r/gratitude

This has been a hard time in my life. Over the last few years I have felt more invisible and unheard than I ever have before. Today, however, after a night of poor sleep a stranger greeted me at work and then said, “You look tired.” I didn’t even realize that I was drained and tired then but she saw it. I encounter so many people in the course of work and life and usually we just exchange a word or two but this woman SAW ME. I’m not even seen at home. It reminded me that, if we keep our eyes open, we get just what we need when we need it most.
