Grateful that after spending 3 wks with her family in their village, my Kenyan “daughter” is going to spend a few days with her fiancé before starting her new term at uni, where she’ll have good network again and we’ll be able to talk!
For months we've normally video chatted once a day, sometimes twice, and she was only able to get through to me once this whole time because the network is so bad in her village.
They're 10 hours ahead and it's bedtime for me here, so when I wake up in the morning she's already supposed to be at her fiancé's house. 🥹🎉
