Gratitude and tears via /r/gratitude

I came to notice that being grateful brings tears to my eyes.

Was walking on the beach today and realized how lucky I was to be healthy, have a roof over my head, food and clothes.

Writing this message is currently bringing tears to my eyes.

I’ve cried for so many reasons:
– was offered a piece of cake at my local coffee shop
– saw some cute dogs
– spent time at the swimming pool
– read books
– took the train and so farm animals during the ride
– have the money to buy stuff and food.

Am I the only one?
