I’m grateful for being able to apologize for things from time to time via /r/gratitude

One time Saturday Night Live did a bit on the president.

President: "I'd like to appla-cate… I'd like apple-gize."

Reporter: "Are you trying to apologize?"

President: "Oh no, I would never do that."

Well, I think I was like that in earlier years. It feels good to apologize when necessary because it feels a lot better than keeping a balloon of tension inflated indefinitely.
