Financial stability

When I was 33 I was at my lowest point financially. No job. No home, living at my dad's. Car falling apart. Credit shot. No savings. I turned 34 and decided enough was enough.

I am so grateful I made the choice to get financial advice from my sister. Today my improved credit score helped me close on a refinancing of my mortgage. I am saving $200/month. Getting $1100 back due to a clerical error by my mortgage holder. And I dont have to pay a mortgage payment in July. I own a home that will net me a tidy pay off when I sell, which will help me get a nicer place.

While to some this may seem very materialistic. But it took me too long to realize that having extra $$, good credit and financial stability is security.

I also rolled over $135K in investments into one 401K account this month. I am working super hard on beefing up my retirement accounts. So that I can have a semi comfortable retirement.
