Grateful and incredibly thankful that I have my kids with me and we are safe in a shelter via /r/gratitude

That's basically it. Had to flee my abuser last night after an attack. The situation sucks, but I'm grateful to the shelter for housing us and beyond grateful to have my kids with me. We are being fed, housed, and have beds to sleep on for the next thirty days. Thank you.
