Grateful “Cheater” (cheap, dollar store) glasses so that I can have improved vision and be able to see via /r/gratitude

I Cannot afford an eye examination-been waiting for 1 for almost 20 years.

My vision has decreased quite a bit – my ex lived 1 hour away and would be angry if I packed too much to bring for a week, and he always packed my things, often with me losing my health supplements, which I used to religiously take but then had to give up on for this reason. I am thinking the cessation of supplements ie omega 3 etc resulted in my decreasing vision, amongst other reasons. He also would get mad if I brought vegetables as he didnt eat them and my being heavily plant based….took up too much space in his fridge :{

Hoping using cheaters is not part of it. Perhaps I am foolish and they are doing harm if I dont have the right prescription, not sure and hope not.

Anyways I cannot afford an eye exam and prescription eye glasses and……….

I love being able to see. I enjoy clear vision.

I would not be able to see or have clear vision without the "cheater" glasses as we call them…they are the cheap glasses from the dollar store, where you just pick the one off the shelf that you think helps you see the best for you.

I am grateful for access to these visual aides – these inexpensive glasses which allow me to see, read and get through each day seeing where I am going and what I am doing.

Quite hard for me to post this superficial post as my yesterdays large meaningful post on point re gratitude for easy safe food line up without warfare was taken down without violating rules and I cannot get any reply to help me understand why – hence feeling confused and feeling I need to be more superficial, perhaps. ( not sure I can though as that is not me and feel that does not serve others either. Thank-you for those that commented to show you also felt it was meaningful, for those also grateful for aid programs and for the person commenting that my post was beautiful and for all the many swift upvotes.
