Grateful for a second chance! via /r/gratitude

I’ve been unemployed since January, and last month I was rejected for a job that I REALLY wanted but didn’t even get to interview for. Cried about it, sent an email thanking them for the opportunity, and found another job.

Well, the person they originally hired didn’t work out so they reached back out to me this week for a phone interview which took place this morning. The interview went SO well and I am being moved to the next steps in the hiring process.

This job would be a life changing salary range, it’s a much shorter commute, and I just really want it!!! I’m so grateful that I took the time to reach out to them after rejection and through my immense disappointment and now I’m back in the running for it. So so SO grateful for another chance!!!!
