Grateful for a steadfast father via /r/gratitude

I feel very blessed and fortunate that my father is still here and that we have a great relationship and always have. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned this isn’t as common as I thought it was and as it should be.
My dad will drop everything for us. He has always been present in our lives even at his busiest and most stressful times. He NEVER complains, carries all of our burdens on his shoulders and acts like it’s the easiest thing in the world. I’m grateful for him each day.
