Grateful for catching up with a friend via /r/gratitude

So thankful that despite moving all over the country after college, sometimes going years without seeing one another, I have stayed in touch with my good friend for the past 14 years. Relationships have come and gone, ups and downs happened, great things and some tragedies, yet here we are talking, laughing, and having a heartfelt, honest conversation. We will soon be living by chance a 2 hour drive from one another in a few months. Such a precious thing that so easily could have never happened. Absolutely blessed to have her in my life!
