Grateful for chewing my food
I feel silly for this one, but I’m going to post it anyway. I have a tendency to swallow my food before Ive chewed it completely. I feel like such a dummy. I realized this about a year ago and once I started counting my chews and making sure to chew it fully I noticed a huge difference in how I felt, how my body was able to digest it easier, and it really made a difference in how much I was eating. It all makes perfect sense. Well I guess I lost sight of it again. My husband mentioned it yesterday and last night when I was eating dinner I counted my chews, 30 or more before I’d swallow each bite. And again I felt full sooner. I’m excited to get back into the habit of this. I’m so grateful that he reminded me.
