Grateful for freedom and independence via /r/gratitude

After some health issues, I thought I would always be dependent on someone. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to just get groceries without help. Now, I dont feel limited by my disability. I dont have to wait for my elderly parents or find a friend to help me. I can and do get things done on my own terms.
