Grateful for grocery money via /r/gratitude

I kept complaining today about how much money I spent on groceries today.. without actually realizing how lucky I was to have that grocery money. We went a few weeks without buying our usual things because rent was coming up and didn’t want to overspend. So today I spent hundreds of dollars on the basic household things, nothing extra or fancy. There was a time I didn’t have $1 for a vending machine snack and today I was able to buy some fruits and vegetables. I’m beyond grateful. It’s funny how easily I forget that this within itself is truly a privilege.
