Grateful for my dad via /r/gratitude

I’ve had some hard stuff from my past resurfacing this week, but along with all the bad there’s also some good memories. One of those memories is an awesome moment where my Dad stood up for me and called my ex and told him he needed to speak to me with respect and not yell while I was ill. I never thought as an adult id need my dad to intervene in my personal life but I’m really happy he did and it was such an awesome dad move.
