Grateful for my travels 💟 via /r/gratitude

By the end of June, I’ll have officially been to 46 US states! Traveling the country has always been a dream of mine. I haven’t really had the opportunity to finish my goal of hitting all 50 states until this past year. I just sold my car to afford this trip. Worth it? Absolutely. I live in NYC and can still get to work and school fine, and I told myself when my car needed major work again that I’d finally just sell it: and that day came. This is the only pocket of time in the foreseeable future where I can afford this trip and be able to take the time to do this trip. I really REALLY really am utilizing this period of my life to follow that dream. After this, I’ll be working extra hours to afford a better car and to pay for school. Last month I went to Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Upstate New York, and Florida. In June, I will be in Arizona, California (I even get to see my rave friends in LA for a few days), Oregon, Washington, Vancouver, Idaho, North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, etc… I’m crying happy tears typing this. I am so fucking grateful. I worked so hard to get here.
