Grateful for the love and memories via /r/gratitude

I drive trucks OTR and I am usually on the road from 2-3 months. I decided to move at the end of the year to a different state. I took a week off for my last time home for awhile. I got to help celebrate my aunts 60th birthday with my family. Seen faces I haven’t seen in awhile. Got a chance to chill with some friends and sometime to chill by myself. There is no better way to leave my hometown than to celebrate life with family rather than getting together for a passing. Have time for myself and chill with close friends. I’m so grateful for the memories and love that I will always have at home and it made hard to leave but leaving is for the betterment of me.
