Grateful for the small things that keep me going 🌑➡️🌅 via /r/gratitude

Life has been hitting pretty hard lately. Some days it feels like I’m just dragging myself through, and it’s easy to focus on what’s missing or what hurts. But tonight, I sat down with a cup of tea, looked out the window, and realized, there are still small things holding me together.

The friend who checks in even when I don’t answer right away. The neighbor’s dog that always wags its tail at me. The feeling of warmth when the sun finally comes through after a long, gray week.

It doesn’t erase the sadness, but it gives me something to hold onto. And I guess that’s gratitude in its rawest form, finding light even when life feels heavy.

tl;dr: Things are tough, but I’m grateful for the little pieces of light that keep me moving forward.
