Grateful for volunteers in Kerr County, Texas via /r/gratitude

I read where they had so many volunteers to help with flood recovery in Kerr County that they had to pause taking volunteers because it was actually starting to slow down recovery efforts because of the high volume of volunteers to manage. What a beautiful problem! Some volunteers are doing great things like cooking and first aid and organizing donations, and quite a lot are literally trying to dig through debris and mud to find bodies to give hurting families closure. People are good. We focus so often on the bad things people do, but there’s so much good in the world.
