Grateful I’m the kind of wife who’s happy for my husband to go spend a few days visiting my stepson and his family a few times a year. via /r/gratitude

For various physical and health reasons it's not advisable or practical for me to go with him for the indefinite future, but I love how close my husband is with them and I'm happy we only live 3 1/2 hours apart. (For the same reasons it's not advisable or practical for us to have guests in our home either, so if he wants to see them going to them is the only option.)
