Grateful my husband lets me learn the hard way via /r/gratitude

Instead of trying to control what I do he sits back and lets me make my own decisions. Then he holds my hand when I realize that the decision I made was less than ideal.

When I’m trying to learn how to do things he’ll let me figure it out on my own. He doesn’t jump in and try to tell me how to do it.

Ive made a lot of mistakes doing it this way but Ive come to understand that mistakes are necessary.

Mistakes are the gateway to me understanding the why, what, when, where, how’s of what I’m working to improve about myself.

I’m forever grateful to married to such an incredible man.
