Grateful That I Never Cut My Very Long Hair

I am so glad I never cut my hair. It is one thing about myself ( aside from my personality being kind and pleasant) that I get compliments on daily. It is the one thing about my appearance ( other than my face which is now aging) that people always talk about to indicate they find it attractive.

My hair matches my youthful personality. It always makes me feel young and think I would feel much older without it-without the length and my bangs framing my face. With it being long, I have so many styling and up do options. Think with it down, more so, it is the one remaining thing that consistently adds to me looking young…or younger.

I really am grateful that I have kept it long all my life. It really is part of my identity and who I am, physically and personality wise. So glad and grateful that I never cut my hair short and put up with the discomforts ( ie hair landing in something I wish to wipe up from the floor, difficulty rolling over in bed as hair wraps around my neck etc) to keep it long, so yes some effort and annoyance but the joy, light hearted feeling and comfort outweighs it. Glad I have my long hair and grateful I never caved to some pressures to cut it. : )
