Grateful to be alive today via /r/gratitude

Last night, I had a close call while riding my bike. I was turning left with a group of riders and right before I turned, they shouted there was a car coming up on our left, but I didn't see it in time. It was a large truck going way too fast – probably 60 mph on a 35 mph road. I pedaled as fast as I could and probably missed the truck by a few seconds. I felt pretty shaken after that and it reminded me of how fragile life is. I'm feeling extremely grateful for another day of life today.
