Grateful to the stranger who saved my morning via /r/gratitude

Rushed out the door this morning and didn’t realize I left my wallet at home until I was already in line for coffee .. was about to awkwardly back out when the guy behind me just said, “I got it, don’t worry.”

He paid before I could even protest. Just a small coffee, nothing fancy, but it fully turned my mood around … just simple kindness.
