Gratitude Journal — Today is a good day to thank my little community

Today, I woke up with a lighter heart. I realized how blessed I am to have people and little souls who never fail to show up for me in their own ways.

My sister has always been my anchor. She helps me whenever I’m struggling, whether it’s financially, emotionally, or even when I’m lost in love or grief. I don’t know what I’d do without her steady support.

My dad isn’t perfect, but he tries his best and I see that. Whenever I need him, he’s there in the ways he knows how. That effort means so much more than words could say.

My best friends are a gift. They offer me their time and emotional support, especially in my hardest moments. They don’t push unsolicited advice, but instead give me their impact and presence, the kind of companionship that heals.

My little fur family is my daily reminder of unconditional love. Meeyaw, my sweet cat, senses when I’m sad and sits beside me quietly or kneads on me, soothing me without saying a word. Arf Arf, with his big heart, always notices my tears and licks them away, reminding me that I’m never alone. And Chichi, my clingy little baby, insists on being by my side every moment she can. She showers me with presence and affection, teaching me that I’m not “too much” at all; I’m just enough for her.

I’m also grateful for the people who guide me at work. My manager sees me as a person first. He understands what I’m going through and always stands up for my needs, making me feel supported. And my boss — so kind and respectful — reminds me that my happiness matters. She cares not just about productivity but about me as a human being, and that kind of leadership is rare.

When I look at all of this, I realize I’m surrounded by love, kindness, and support — both at home and at work. Today truly is a good day, and I carry that gratitude in my heart.
