I had to dig deep today via /r/gratitude

Gratitude didn't knock on my door, but I am grateful I hung in there and made the most of it. Now, at the end of the day, I can look back and see how grateful I am for this day, the people in it, the healthy and delicious food I ate and didn't think twice about buying, the rain and birds next to my open window.

I dropped six eggs on a hard tile floor and made crustless quiche. That's a metaphor for everything in my life lately.
