I’m grateful for a day off! via /r/gratitude

Usually, I am off to work before the kids wake up. Today, I was able to wake them up and get them ready for school! I was also able to take the dog for a long walk.

Now, I’m grateful to be in a quiet house by myself, ready to do some chores with no pressure or distraction. I’m building my to-do list for the rest of the day, and I’m going to schedule in some self-care and rest time.

I’m so grateful for a day like this when I feel like I can take a breath.
