I’m grateful for my internship via /r/gratitude

I’m a mass communication major with a concentration in PR but I want to be a journalist. I got an internship in Missouri at the school of journalism but it unfortunately got cancelled 🥲. I was so upset and been so worried I wouldn’t be able to find one for this Summer. FORTUNATELY my professor helped me find an internship in my city where I get to cover different community event (I live in NOLA so there’s a lot going on here) and I’m just so grateful that I got this opportunity.

I thank God and my professor for helping me gain this opportunity and I thank myself for working so hard to put myself in this position 😊.
