I’m Grateful For The Little Things via /r/gratitude

I’m grateful for the little acts of love from the people I know. When a friend shared with me their reminiscences about life, I was honored to be included and reflect with them. When a family member called to check in, because they like hearing from me and want to get as many happy memories together while they can. I want to have happy memories of my own with them, and we make them with every call.

I’m grateful for the little joys I can find on my own. I can drink most of the teas that I enjoy, and spend most of the year under a warm sun. When I go for a walk, I can find a small critter if I make an effort to look, and share the moment with them. When I come home from work, I have hot water and a comfy bed waiting for me.

When I have bad days, bad months, or bad years, I’m grateful for more chances to have better times. I’m grateful my story isn’t over yet.
