I’m grateful the I was able to experience the anticipation of Saturday morning cartoons via /r/gratitude

We’re out of town for the Fourth of July holiday weekend. And today my plan is to do as little as possible. As I was channel surfing I landed on cartoons and it just felt right to watch.

I realized that kids these days don’t get to experience the excitement of waking up early on Saturday morning so you can watch cartoons before the parents woke up.

I’m thankful that I was able to experience that feeling.
