So Surprised and Still so Grateful to Have Seen 2 Baby Dear – and While on the city Bus Yet ! :o via /r/gratitude

I am left still thinking about my yesterdays bus ride.

I was standing near the front of the bus while it was driving though the parking areas of our city's hospital grounds, which is on an outer area of the city near a bushed and undeveloped area, but still has plenty of traffic. I have never seen dear on the hospital grounds on any of the many times I have been here. I asked the driver and he also said he had not.

There were 2 frolicking fawns, one appeared smaller, perhaps younger and the other larger, perhaps older. We were driving and 1 one, the tiny one, just jumped out in front of the bus without a care, the other followed and leapt a large leap, far beyond the road and danger of the bus, but the smaller one had not left as far, looked up, seemed frightened and then did a little cork screw type leap action, propelling itself back toward the bus and roadway, before leaping back to the parking lot to follow the other. I found myself wishing the driver had used his radio to alert someone so some wildlife protection people could be informed. I was worried they would get hit with all the developed parking areas before them and the very busy traffic roadways ahead of them.

These 2 baby dears were so so cute and precious, so nice to see and admire their beauty.

Each were a medium tan colour with cute little white lined ears, white lined tails, white lined eyes and a massive splattering of large white dots peppering each fawn's back.

They really were so beautiful.

I was grateful for the privilege to see and admire them – and to hold this memory with me.
