Thank you God for Breakfast via /r/gratitude

Day 302/365 • I am extremely grateful this morning for my breakfast. I’m amazed at how many times I have forgotten to say thank you, to you God, for ask the sustenance that you have brought forward to nourish me. There are so many occasions that come that it is natural to give thanks for our food – during the holidays more of your children are gathered and there is a much higher probability that you will remember if it was a tradition in your family. Some families eat together often and say a prayer before they eat but I did not grow up with that kind of luxury.

Each time I remember to give thanks before I eat, it makes the meal a little better .. whether you believe in God or if you are just thanking yourself for being the kind bearer of the fruits of your own labors – either way there is a moment where you can pause, and truly be grateful for the food you eat.

I’m a work in progress.. I want to be grateful more. This is another way I can do this ✨😌💕
