The difference a year can make via /r/gratitude

I started 2024 without a job, depressed and feeling horrible about myself in general, unable to pay down my debt which was getting worse and wondering what would be the next chapter for me. Six month later I decided to move to a new city and state, found the best job of my life, and the nicest apartment I’ve ever been able to afford.

The last year has been everything the previous two were not. I was patient, I put a plan in place, and I executed it. Is everything perfect? No, of course not and it never will be. But it’s getting better. Every day.

I am grateful.
