To the kind soul who took away that poor cat via /r/gratitude

My husband and I were driving to his job this morning and sadly came across a cat who had been knocked down and was deceased. On my way back less than an hour later I was armed with gloves and ready to move the poor cat off the road so they wouldn’t receive further damage.

To my surprise, they were gone. Either the poor owner found them or some other kind soul took them away. Either way I’m grateful they weren’t left there alone.
