Today I am grateful for those who listen without interrupting via /r/gratitude

So, I’ve got ADHD, which means when I tell stories, I go off on little side quests, lol. I also throw in details that some people might consider, let’s say, “unnecessary.” But I’m just trying to paint the full picture, you know? Anyway, I called my incredible dad to tell him this super long work story, and of course, I kept losing my place. He stays 100% engaged, no rushing, no interrupting.

Now, you might think this is a tiny thing to be grateful for, but honestly, it’s rare that anyone lets me get through a story without cutting me off or trying to speed me up. So, yeah, I’m really thankful for my dad and people who genuinely listen.
