Uncommon, but grateful for my 9-5. via /r/gratitude

for some reason, i don't get the hate that 9-5 gets. sure it could be stressful sometimes, and it feels like you're insignificant especially working for a massive company, but i think it does not deserve the insane disrespect it gets. i wanted to live by myself as a kid, and buy my own videogames, and now i'm doing exactly that, thanks to my 9-5. i think we should appreciate these mundane things more especially if we're surviving off of it. remember, you dont have to work, you GET to work. keep working, and remind yourself to give yourself a gratitude check every now and then so you know why you're doing what you're doing. <3
