Grateful for My Cat (1)

I’m grateful for my cats. They’re both older cats (in their teens) and such important members of my family! I’m going to focus on my female cat today. It’s her birthday. We’ve had her since she was a kitten. She has been rambunctious and attention seeking and full of personality from day one! She loves her toys and picks toys out of her toy bin on her own and literally throws them around for herself! When she was younger, she was more about chasing the cat teaser (a toy that is basically just a feather duster on a long stick) around at high speeds and literally doing flip jumps in there air in pursuit of it! Now she becomes tired out by that game much more quickly and prefers to just choice one of her mousey toys or other toys to chase around at her leisure. She also loves sleeping near us (well, the adults) and will seek out any opportunity to do so! She does both purr and snore excessively loudly, but it’s something we’ve learned to live with!
